Note: to be able to follow this walkthrough, make sure to use the compass found at the lower right of your screen.
Lahan Village
After the initial movie (it's quite long), you will get control of Fei, the lead character. Underneath the bed is 200g. You can talk to the lady on the north on this floor. There are also 2 Aquasols on the west room. Go upstairs and talk to everyone. Try going out the door and Dan will block your way. After that conversation, go outside.
Talk to Dan, choose whatever you want and then talk to the girl beside the cow, when she gives you a choice, tell her you agree with her. You'll get 2 Aquasols. Go the the well and jump (press triangle). First time I got an Eyeball and on the 2nd an Aquasol S. I didn't get anything after that.
The pub is the building right behind Dan. Enter it and talk to everyone. When you get to talk to the drunk, choose the 3rd option. He'll give you a Mermaid's Tear. Head upstairs to talk to the mother. Outside on the 2nd floor balcony is the daughter. Now head out of the pub.
West of the pub is the item store. Buy what you can for your first dungeon.
There's a path between your house and the store, walk west to talk to the man walking around near the cow. Talk to him to get an Aquasol. Talk to him again to get another Aquasol.
Keep heading south, use L1 and R1 to adjust the view, and enter the house beside yours. There's a memory cube (to save), don't ask for an explanation, it's useless to and you'll lose some g's. I had to reload my game since I hate losing g's unnecessarily. Talk to everyone inside the house for different tutorials. One of them will give you 80g.
The house next to that is where a guy plays rock paper scissors. Every time you play it's 50g. You get 50 g if you win, you lose 50g if you lose. If you win 5x you'll get the Mythical RPG Hero Badge. Go below and talk to the old woman. Choose the first option and she'll give you 120g.
The last house you'll enter is Alice's. There's a woman standing outside. She'll move once you talk to her. Go inside the house and talk to Alice. After the conversation, you'll be downstairs. Go out of the house and head north, going outside of the village. Use the road between the pub and the item store.

The road to Dr. Citan Uzuki's house

You're goal is get to the mountain to get some stuff from Dr. Citan Uzuki. Once you are outside Lahan, you'll see a Memory Cube. You'll be randomly fighting Jackals and Hobgobs. Hobgobs will sometimes give Hob-Jerky which can give you 50HP but is only useable outside of combat. I use these after battles when my HP is base - 50. I never use Aquasol unless if I need to.
If you follow the road north of the Memory Cube, you'll get an Aquasol. The road to the left will take you to Citan's house. Follow that road and stay right. Talk to the kid standing on the cliff. You'll have to do a big jump here. Follow the instructions and you'll be fine.
Before completely crossing the bridge, jump down for another Aquasol. Follow the road and you'll see a sign. Notice that there's a stone west of the sign and a tree behind it. Go to the tree, jump and a spider will fall. Click on the spider (you have to be in front fo it) to get it.

Citan's house
Before going inside Citan's house, search around for some items. There's Midori's ring in the left flower bed. You'll have to jump between the left flower bed and the wall before you can get it. Go inside the door to talk to everyone there. 2nd level didn't give me anything. 3rd level has a ladder which will lead you to a telescope. There's a chimney with 120g near the telescope. Go back downstairs and head to the outhouse. There will be several scenes after the conversation between Fei and Citan.
Head back to Lahan. Notice you're not encountering any monsters. Once you cross the bridge, there's a scene. Run back to Lahan to trigger another set of scenes.
